Animal testing is wildly used to test the safety and effect of cosmetic products, at present, there are mainly eye irritation, skin irritation and 3LD50 test for toxicity detection. SFDA needs enterprises provide safety certificate including animal testing for import cosmetics (special and non-special) and domestic cosmetics (special).
